Dunelm Property Services
Dunelm Property Services are a leading social housing organisation, operating across the North East of England. Energi were appointed to work on designing and managing the installation of Solar PV arrays across a new residential development of 22 properties at Widdrington.
The first stage was for Energi to assess the roofs of the properties and determine which modules would work most effectively. Dunelm Property Services had a preference for the PV to be in-roof for a more aestheically pleasing finish, therefore Energi recommended using Centrosolar semi-integrated PV modules in order to achieve the desired result.
The integrated Solar PV system is designed specifically for incorporating into the roof itself. The not only offers the visually appealing finish which was requied by the client, it also offsets a proportion of the cost of the tiles for the property roofs.
The installation consisted of eight Energi-roof 190w integrated modules per property using SMA SB100 inverters, giving a total installed peak power of 33.44kWp. This would give a total estimated annual electricity output of 27,478kWh across the 22 homes.
