Solar Tracker PV Systems

The solar tracker tracks the sun path in two axis which will give up to a 40% improvement from a fixed array. The tracker positions the PV panels to be perpendicular to the sun to maximise the performance. The tracker system would follow the sun path from a pre-determined algorithm so it is always facing the sun. To protect itself from damage in high winds the tracker moves into a horizontal position until the on-board anemometer measures a safe wind speed.
